Heather Rose combines her passion for historic preservation with a proven track record in real estate and community engagement. As the Director of Operations for The Historic Collective at Compass, she leverages her extensive background to help clients navigate the unique world of historic homes. With over 15 years of experience in marketing and event management for organizations such as Riverside Avondale Preservation, Springfield Preservation and Revitalization, the Riverside Arts Market, and the Mandarin Museum and Historical Society, Heather has dedicated her career to celebrating and preserving Jacksonville’s rich cultural heritage. 

Throughout her career, Heather has demonstrated her ability to create impactful programs and events that resonate with communities. She was a part of initiatives like the Riverside Avondale Preservation’s Bootleggers’ Ball and Springfield’s Sesquicentennial programming, which highlighted the charm and history of these iconic neighborhoods. Heather’s work on the Jacksonville PorchFest helped draw over 10,000 attendees in 2018, showcasing her ability to blend strategic marketing with operational excellence. Her storytelling talent, honed through writing and photography for regional publications, allows her to craft compelling narratives that bring historic homes and neighborhoods to life. 

As a licensed real estate agent since 2017, Heather has seamlessly transitioned her skills into the real estate industry. She achieved over $2 million in sales during her first year, gaining accolades for her client-focused approach and expertise in navigating complex transactions. Her understanding of historic properties, combined with her background in marketing and preservation, makes her an invaluable resource for clients seeking to buy or sell homes with character and history. 

Heather earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from the University of North Florida, majoring in History with a minor in Art History. When she’s not assisting clients, she enjoys spending time in her garden, volunteering with local non-profits, and traveling to explore other historic destinations. Heather’s dedication to preserving the past while helping clients create their futures defines her unique approach on our team.
